The Wisdom of Buffalo

I asked Bear to guide me to Buffalo and was transported to the western plains of the U.S. at a time when buffalo roamed them in large numbers. Life was bursting all around me, wildlife was everywhere. I saw large herds moving across the vast plains. There were moments where I saw tribes on horseback hunting the herds but those moments were scarce in comparison to the time shown to me. Unexpectedly, the vision began to speed up. I watched the landscape change before my eyes. Trails appeared and small towns, followed by roads and large cities. Forests and fields were covered in concrete and metal high rises. Buffalo appeared to me and sat next to me. "My brothers and sisters once roamed these valleys. We lived abundant lives and provided abundance for many tribes that lived here. They listened to our medicine and held us in high honor. In exchange we taught them how to pray to the Great Spirit for abundance." Buffalo paused. "It is still around you, but it is different now." Abundance comes at quite a cost for some and is not in balance. It is false if it causes lack for others.” Buffalo stood up and began to walk. I followed him.

"We hold the wisdom of unifying the twin currents within you to manifest what you need. It can also be called prayer. Oneness is, always has been and always will be. Imagine a time when large groups of people would come together to pray, or meditate, if you prefer, on feeling the same enegy at the same time. This is how some cultures would come together to manifest their abundance. When tribes hunted us, they took only what they needed. This is the definition of abundance. To have what you need when you need it. How would you act if you knew,at your core, that you would always have what you needed when you needed it? Would you stockpile and hourd?" Buffalo asked.

"Would you exploit the Earth of her riches? These are all manifestations of fear and lack. We Buffalo can teach you a different meaning of abundance. But you must feel it and feel us as well. If humans cease to feel the animals and their medicines, then animals will cease to be in form. You will lose our wisdom and be all alone in this place. Is that what you wish to create? Many of you feel alone and are actually creating it. Feel the abundance we speak of and the Buffalo shall return. If I come to you then, somehow, you need my medicines of abundance generosity, of working together as a whole, of courage and strength and of the power of giving for the greater good."

I thanked Buffalo for his wisdom. Bear arrived and led me out of the vision. Wanishi.
